About Rosa M. Guzman, LICSW

There is simply only one word that can describe Rosa M. Guzman...and that word is...LIMITLESS.

Despite being born Deaf, Rosa never allows that become a reason to not strive for your goals. In fact, her determination to never allow her Deafness to define her is what she truly embodies in all she does.

After achieving her Bachelor's degree in Social Work in 2003 from West New England University, Rosa further pushed herself to achieve her Master's Degree in Social Work in 2006.

Since 2007, Rosa has worked with hundreds of Deaf & Hard of Hearing individuals helping them live a higher quality of life. Because of her experience being Deaf, female, and Latina, Rosa's perspective helps her clients understand that there is NO limitation except the ones we place on ourselves.

Rosa's hard work and 'never quit' attitude has been a source of inspiration to many.

As an avid world traveler, Rosa has visited many countries, including Portugal, Greece, Italy, and more. In addition, she's also a tutor for other Deaf individuals, helping them prepare for the Licensed Independent Social Worker exam.

Her tireless spirit and desire to give back to others doesn't stop there. She's also presented and shared her unique experience to audiences at famed institutions such as Holyoke Community College and Framingham State University, both in Massachusetts.

Her desire to give back to the Deaf community and those who helped her along the way is evident, as she serves on the board for the Willie Ross School for the Deaf.

No Limits...

Rosa is living proof that no matter what you face in life, a positive, 'can-do' attitude can overcome anything.

No matter her schedule, Rosa still finds time to give back to her friends & family.

In her off-time, you'll catch her at her son's flag football or basketball games, having dinners with friends, working out at the gym, and always finding a way to live life to the fullest.
